Needle Felted Brooches

Needle felted Highland Cow Brooch with Hand embroidery.

This little felt brooch is made using wet felting and needle felting techniques. I have used a mix of wool fibres for the background. The wee coo or sheep are needle felted on by hand with a little bit of stitch for added detail. The flowers are embroidered by hand.
The felt is then mounted in a round wooden brooch base measuring 4 cm. The brooch bar on the back is extremely securely attached.
